Wondering how to find the cash for what you know you need but feel you can't afford?
When prospects tell me that they'd really like to work with me to make more money in their businesses, but cash flow is a problem, I offer this list of 14 ways to generate some quick cash.
The great thing about this list is that most of us can generate about $2k if we did all of them at once, or easily create at least $100/month if done regularly. And since my services come in at under $100/month, we're in business, baby!
- Have a garage sale
- Sell your collectibles on Ebay
- Take your valuables to a pawn shop
- Sell old gold jewelry to those places that pay cash for gold
- Post your hand-made treasures on Etsy.com
- Return unopened/unworn/unused merchandise to the store
- Cash in your gift cards (or use them for necessities and reallocate the money for what you want)
- Offer your books to a used bookstore
- Offer your DVDs and CDs to a used CD store
- Consign or sell clothing at a resale shop
- Get a part-time/temporary job
- Cut your expenses by doing it yourself (mani-pedi) or doing without (daily latte)
- Post stuff on Craigslist
- Offer a sale on your current inventory (select merchandise) or your services
